I Was Lost But Now I'm Found

I created this piece shortly after my painting was stolen. I had never had a painting taken from my possession before, and for a week, I didn't want to talk to anyone or answer the phone. Lapis Lazuli, the latest of my Crystal Ladies, was taken, and I felt like I had lost one of my protectors. I had spent the most time creating her.

I made this piece while listening to Cleo Sol’s album “Gold” on repeat, particularly the song “Lost Angel.” When I create, sometimes I experience a creative blackout. This piece represents the Crystal Ladies (My Spiritual Guides and Protectors) coming together to console me and let me know that they’re always with me, protecting me.

Thankfully, Lapis Lazuli, The Lady of Wisdom, was returned. Thank you to everyone who helped in the efforts to get her back to me. I’ll forever be thankful.
