Meet the Artist

Lacy Talley is a dynamic multidisciplinary artist from Cleveland, OH, known for vibrant works that blend Afrofuturism and Surrealism through crystal-inspired themes. A Kent State University graduate with a BA in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Pan-African Studies, her versatile practice—spanning acrylics, resin, ceramics, and digital media—is deeply informed by her formative experiences in Ghana and Senegal.

As a seasoned Art Director, Lacy has collaborated with global brands like Spotify, Moët Hennessy, and Cadillac, and partnered with Maker’s Mark to support emerging Black creators through their Art & Soul Program. Her design influence also extends to the sports world through work with the NBA and Marcus Graham Project, including designing the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Justice Champion Award and the Cleveland Summit location marker.

Her commitment to community is reflected in public works that foster connection and imagination, most notably her collaboration with Canvus, The Sanctuary of Dreams, Imagination, and Abundance, permanently installed in Avon, OH. In Glenville, her mural “Sounds of The Gold Coast” preserves neighborhood history through visual storytelling.

A passionate educator and upcycling advocate, Lacy mentors emerging creatives through the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning and Karamu House. Her exhibition history spans from Cleveland City Hall to Los Angeles, and as a recipient of the Andy Warhol Foundation’s Satellite Fund, she debuted her 2025 Crystal Gardens Healing Art Exhibition, further cementing her dedication to art as a tool for wellness and excellence.
